Feeling Sprung

Tips for a Spring Clean Face!

Microdermabrasion

Kick off your spring renewal with a microdermabrasion treatment. A non-invasive procedure, your esthetician uses a handheld device to remove dead skin cells, exfoliating deeper than any at-home treatments. Because the top layer of dead skin is removed, skin is fresh and radiant, but also more open to the active ingredients in your at-home products.

Natural Enzyme Mask

If you can’t get to the spa, or want to maintain the benefits from a microdermabrasion treatment, incorporate a natural enzyme mask to your at-home routine. An enzyme mask or peel digests and removes the old impacted proteins in your pores, stimulating new cell turnover. Check out Elizabeth Arden PRO Enzyme Mask for a fresh spring clean.

Routine Care

Refresh your skin care routine. We recommend a basic cleanser (both for morning and night), a toner to remove any residual product, a facial serum containing antioxidants and vitamins, and a moisturizer (which should contain sun protection during the day). Look for products with Vitamin C and AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids) for gentle, continuous exfoliation that will brighten your complexion.

Down with Detox

In addition to topical treatments, take your spring glow to the next level by detoxing the body and rehydrating from the inside out. Begin each day with water packed fruits such as grapes, berries and melons. These help to rehydrate the body after a long night’s rest and they are bursting with antioxidants and vitamins. Consuming meals with rich leafy greens can also give your complexion a glowing boost.
